Of all the things I love to do in this world, sweating is not one of them. Especially stress sweating, which smells the worst. I know why our bodies do it, but that doesn’t make it any cuter. So, I put together a list of five tips that I use to help fight stress.

Here’s my favorite tip:

Picture this:

You’re traveling for work. The airport is packed but you planned enough time so you have an hour at security. As you stand in line, your husband calls: your child has a fever, get home soon. Security drags on and on.

You finally make it through and get to your gate, when the announcement comes over the loud speaker. “Flight has been delayed”. As you sit there, trying not to curse at everyone and everything in sight, you start to think about your child, then all the work you are getting backed up on, the meeting you don’t want miss, then back to your child, then schedules, and you notice that you have begun to sweat. A lot.

Every day stressors—working, cooking, cleaning and never-ending to-do lists—can lead to excessive sweating, and sweating caused by stress smells worse than regular sweat.

What stresses you out the most and how do you de-stress?

Que causa estrés en tu vida? For my English readers that translates to “What causes stress in your life?” Being extremely busy is my biggest stress factor. I know most of us bloggers especially wonder how we can find more time in the day to get everything done. I used to find myself very stressed out often as I am always so busy. I would rarely have time to relax as I’m either working, traveling, doing something with the family, or doing something for the blog.

I realized I needed to make time for myself to lessen my stress — stress is not healthy for you. It can make you sick and even worse, it can also make you sweat… A LOT! I realized I needed to relax when I would find myself sweating all the time from stress!
